A Puppy Dog Musical...

Last Thursday evening, was Roen's 2nd Grade Musical. The theme was all kinds of puppy dogs!

Roen had three parts on the microphone and for such a shy little guy, I thought he did great. He talked loud and clear each time it was his turn.

Roen was Alfie the Afghan. I couldn't quite figure out how to make an Afghan costume, so I settled on a sheep dog costume from Amazon. Roen looked pretty cute, but bless his heart, the fuzz was itchy, making his face itch and by the time he finished on stage, he was pouring sweat.

He has never really be a performer (unless he is on the piano) and I am not sure that will ever change. He did very little moving when singing and had very little facial expressions. In fact, I caught him yawning quite a bit- it was his bedtime and he was tired and hot!

There is something sweet about my little shy Roen. Not one to hog the spotlight, not needing the attention, just silently smiling in the background, his presence not loud, but just as entertaining...

This is the cutest thing ever! He brings new meaning to the Shaggy Dog. Oh how I would love to see a video of this program. They are all adorable. The second picture in the post is so Micah! Way to go Roen! I hope you never lose your sweet sweet smile 😊
Love and hugs to y’all!
