I was so glad Micah took over for the day so that I could be a part of Brittney's big day. Briggs was born around noon on Monday and he exceeded our '8lb something' guesses by entering the world at 9lbs 5oz! There is nothing better than a newborn all swaddled up like a little burrito making kitten sounds in your arms. Briggs is now the baby of our little friend circle and I can assure you, he will be spoiled, loved and probably never put down... at least if I'm around!
There is something a bit different about having a baby in your 30's compared to your 20's. All of our kids are older, self-sufficient, and I think as parents the confidence level is so much higher. Baby Briggs is entering the world at the most perfect time- he will be our little breath of fresh air, amidst the chaos of the older kids running around.

Wow! He is truly a bouncing baby boy! Absolutely precious and looks right at home in your and Elizabeth's arms. Look out...baby fever alert! Please tell them I send my congratulations. Briggs must have loved all those groceries y'all had on the girls get-away trip! Thanks so much for sharing and enjoy every moment you can get your hands on him.
