After church on Easter Sunday, we went home to change into something comfy and then headed over to Gran's house. We ate a feast of a meal and while we cleaned up the kitchen, the eggs where hidden. The kids could hardly wait to get outside to hunt eggs. The kids all lined up on the sidewalk and on the count of three, they were off grabbing every egg they saw. Confetti eggs were cracked while kids ran around filling baskets, sacks, shirts- anything they could find, and when all eggs had be found, everyone finished with a smile!
After the egg hunting, the real fun begins. Everyone spreads out, dumps their baskets and sorts through all their goodies. We make a pile of candy and a pile of money and then count up our winnings. It is always an unannounced competition to see who wins the most.
This year, we had beautiful weather for the afternoon. While the cousins played, we all caught up, and it really was a very blessed day!
Because the weather was so perfect, the boys took their very first swim of the season when we got home...

A good and perfect way to wrap up the Easter celebration. Looking at the kids all lined up for the egg hunt shows how much they have all grown. Great pictures of a wonderful family. Thanks for sharing ❤️ Love and hugs!
