Field Day 2019...

Monday, the boys had the much anticipated Field Day at school. Field Day is full of smiles, competition and laughs. The events are always kicked off with an opening ceremony where each grade enters the gym holding their class banner. Micah and I spend the morning hopping from event to event watching the boys have the very best time with their classmates. The favorite has always been tug-o-war. We have two classes per grade and each class competes against each other. This year, both boy's classes came out winners and for them, that made Field Day a true success!

They also have sack races, egg races, jump rope, water games, a softball throw and bean bag races. Field Day is one of our school's best events. Parents fill the stands to watch the opening ceremony, then fill them again mid-morning to watch tug-o-war and families are everywhere as they watch their child in a morning full of fun competition.

Looks like a blast! Tell them congrats on winning their tug of wars. Thanks so much for all the pictures. It’s the next best thing to being there. I can’t believe this year is ending. Happy Summertime 😎😎😎😎
