This trilogy is based on supernatural humans who at war with each other. As the story unfolds, we are webbed into a love triangle where the main character has to choose between her own kind or the enemy- all while fighting for her life and the souls of not only her people but the souls of every living being. The second book was by far my favorite and though I personally didn't like who she chose for herself, the books were such a good read! I am a sucker for the love triangle- it gets me everytime!

Although I have not watched Game of Thrones, this series of books reminds me of what I’ve heard about it. Think I’ll take your word for it and pass on reading these. I’m just not sure when you have time to read!
