After last year's Covid-style Easter, we were all happy to have a traditional Easter with all the festivities!
We started our Easter off on Saturday with friends. Every year, our lake community hosts a giant egg hunt for all the families that live out here. This year, they handed out kites for the kids to fly and had a mimosa brunch, which just made the morning even more fun!
It has become a friend tradition that every year after the hunt, we go back to one of our houses and spend the afternoon dyeing eggs together. A few extras from the neighborhood ended up joining in on the messy fun and of course, it was only a matter of time before a game of backyard football got started up!
All these little traditions make some of the very best memories!

Fun times at LK!! So many eggs...so little time! I love watching kids hunt eggs. There can be one right in their path and they step over it for another one. The egg dying looks like a great time. Enjoy these days for there will come a time when they aren’t interested in dying eggs. Of course if you have a prize egg they will always hunt! I still remember Micah cracking a confetti egg on your head and let’s just say it was a first and last time 😬. Thanks so much sharing! Love y’all bunches!!
