This weekend, our elementary put on a pretty magnificent showing of The Lion King Musical.
Although, neither of my boys will step foot on a stage if given the choice, they made sure I got tickets so they could watch all their buddies perform. I think every single person in the audience was blown away by how awesome it was and the boys LOVED getting to see their friends up on that stage!
I loved getting to watch the boys be a part of the magic in being able to clap for others- being able to truly be happy for others when they are in the spotlight. I think I looked over and watched the boys as much as I did the stage. Seeing their little eyes sparkle, the smiles, the giggles, Roen asking questions... they were truly proud of their friends and their success, and that was the true magic of the night for me.

Whether on stage or in the audience it’s nice to see a familiar face! It’s wonderful that they wanted to go support their classmates. Pretty cool costumes. I bet it was awesome. Maybe someday they will want to perform! 😉
