Christmas Eve is always spent at Gran's house! There are some pretty long-standing traditions that always prove to be lots of fun!
We started off eating which is always just a hodge-podge of finger foods and deserts brought from each family. This year we had tamales, Chick-Fil-A nuggets, meatballs, run cake, fudge and everything in between! From there we moved on to our annual ornament exchange where we love giving each other a good hassle over the stealing of each other's ornaments. At this point, the kids could hardly contain their excitement, so we let them tear into all their gifts. Once, this was over, we did something new and played an entertaining game of Favorite Things. This was so much fun and I think maybe something we will repeat in the future.
We ended the evening as we always do, with the loud and chaotic game of family BINGO. We play until our giant prize pile is gone, which usually lasts until all 20+ of us has a blackout card- from there it becomes a free-for-all where everyone just grabs, taking what is left in the prize pile! This night is loud, full of way too many pictures, a mess of wrapping paper, new toys, dogs running around, kids in and out and truly an evening that I always look forward to!
Micah loves dressing up to get a good laugh, so I decided my Grinch needed some Christmas Spirit by his side!

This is awesome! Keeping traditions and making new ones is what makes for the best memories ♥️ Takes me all the way back to my childhood days. Sounds like y’all had some delicious snacks. Nothing better than tamales…and CFA 😋. You and Micah make quite the fashion statement. And then it becomes The Grinch and his girls! Of course I guess he’s been outnumbered for years. Such great times and I love seeing all the pictures. Thanks for sharing!! Love y’all bunches!! 😘
