Last week, Scout got fixed. The vet said it was no running for 7 days and no jumping for 10-12 days. Well, Scout is like a little T Rex and trying to keep her calm and resting proved to be about as much fun as it sounds. We did the cone at night and when she was alone at home. We did her on a leash any other time for as long as we could. At about day 6, we all got a bit over wrangling the dinosaur and gave her bits of freedom back just to keep our sanity.
Lady is still not 100% and we are in the process of figuring that out, but until we do, we do our best to keep her out of harms way (aka, Scout) by making her take it easy and letting her rest out of reach (again, Scout)!
These pictures are everything from Scout resting, sporting her cone, Lady taking it easy, pretty sunsets on the way to school, the 'you can't believe it unless you see it' wiggle wormness of Roen when he gets in the car after school, Scouts favorite part of the day when we go pick Remi up, going to wake Roen up and finding a penguin, Roen stealing Scout snuggles to everything in between! If you can't tell, we sure are crazy about our dogs in this house!

Don’t you just ♥️ everyday life! These candid shots are awesome. Roen doing yoga in the car 😂…he’s got hidden talents! Sweet Remi and his best girl, Scout, are looking good. And the best for last…Little Lady all snuggled up in daddy’s hoodie 💕. Life is good in the Davenport world….love y’all bunches!
