Our last day in Florida, was spent on the salty, blue waters, fishing! It was a pretty rainy and cold day to be out on the water, but we threw on our rain gear and savored the sunshine when it finally decided to come out!
We spent our day fishing inshore and the shallow mangroves. We saw tons of tiny little sting ray, caught a handful of Red Fish and Roen even caught a Flounder! Remi is our little fisherman and loves casting away! It is always his top request when we will be in a beach town! Although we didn't catch many fish throughout the day, we did catch enough that the marina chef was able to grill and blacken our fresh catches for dinner! Talk about getting to enjoy your labors of the day! It really was the perfect way to end our day!
This Spring Break was probably the best one yet! We had such a mixture of outdoor activities, that it let us explore Florida in a way we never have! I am not sure where we will end up next March, but this will be a hard act to follow!
