Back in June, the boys started up with dog training!
This is Benny's first go with training and is 6 sessions of basic puppy classes. So far, she has mastered sit, down and come. Roen is loving working with her and because she is such a sweet, mild mannered little gal, she has been pretty easy to train.
Scout is in her 3rd level of training. She has completed her puppy training, basic obedience and is now doing a 4 session advanced training. He loves nothing more than working with Scout and teaching her new commands. In fact, his instructor showed a video of him working Scout to her supervisor and he told Remi to come apply when he turned 18. He is very stern with Scout and has extremely high expectations of her- so far, she always meets the mark!
I love watching the boys interact with their dogs in their own little ways. Where Roen uses a soft, loving touch with a gentle tone, Remi uses a stern, no- tolerance style with Scout. Each way works and has had a way of molding their dog's personalities to match their own. Buying the boys their own dog and holding them accountable for the caretaking has been one of the best things we have ever done!

Way to go Remi…huge compliment to be told to check back for employment when your 18! It is really sweet to see/hear that the boys are relaying their own unique personalities to the girls. I can hear both of them giving commands. And I have to say good job momma…carting them back and forth. The never ending Uber that gets paid in smiles and a little slobber 🐾
