Our last full day in the Bahamas was spent golfing- which was not planned at all!
We didn't bring clubs, proper clothes, or shoes, but when we got there and saw how beautiful the course was, we knew we would be crazy not to squeeze in a round! Sandals was right next to our resort and the course started there and ended at our resort. The front 9 had us surrounded in secluded mangroves, with lush vegetation and tropical color everywhere you looked. The back 9 were along the rocky peninsula, where waves splashed, palms dotted the course and the turquoise waters held the backdrop for the most beautiful course I have ever been on!
The boys played in their crocs, with ladies clubs that were way too big and bought used golfballs- the only balls the pro shop sold, it was as comical as it was fun! It was one of those rounds, where everyone is in good spirits, no hole taken too seriously and by the time we hit the end of our round, Remi was playing barefoot. Nothing better than barefoot golf with ocean views!
After golf, we threw on our swimsuits and spent our remaining time on the beach. I read while the boys went back and forth from snorkeling to sandcastle building. We stayed as long as the day would allow and throughly enjoyed soaking up our last little bits of this Caribbean paradise!
This vacation was one for the books and even though I say it every year, there is no way this trip could ever be topped! It holds it's own set of memories, adventures shared together, stories brought back home and another experience I will always hold dear!

I knew this day was coming and I probably dreaded it as much as y’all did. Yay for an unexpected golf adventure. Remi looks pretty comfortable playing barefoot 🦶. Such a beautiful course and the tee markers…conch shells…really cute! The boys (all three of them) look like they are having the best day. I will say the back 9 is gorgeous. It reminds me of St. Andrews!! And then on to the beach for laid back relaxation…saved the best for last. The water there is absolutely beautiful. I’d have trouble reading or staying focused. The view would be enough entertainment for me. The boys were plenty busy building in the sand. Roen looks like he’s putting together a party platter. Not sure I’d like what’s in the middle 🤣.
Thanks for sharing your vacation…it did not disappoint!!! Love y’all bunches! 😘
