Cabo, Day 1...

Our first day in Cabo was a golf day! 

I decided to wake up early, to soak up the morning sun, and settled in for some patio reading while everyone else took advantage of sleeping in! I'm a bit of a little morning bird and cannot resist getting up before everyone else, tip-toeing around and sneaking in a few chapters before my wild animals emerge from their dens!

Our first day out, we played Tiger's course, El Cardonal. This course was absolutely beautiful and ended up being Micah and the boy's favorite course of the trip! Once we arrived at the club house, we sat down in a quaint little patio tucked away in rocks, surrounded by colorful flowers, sunbathing lizards and a sunny breeze that had us all in heaven! Caddies in white jumpers grabbed our clubs and assisted the guys to the range to warm-up while breakfast was made. After Mexican-style burritos, fruit smoothies, a breakfast Pacifico and a bloody mary for me, we made our way to tee box #1.

This day on the course was perfection! The course itself is one of the most beautiful, well-kept courses I have ever laid my eyes on. There were snack huts all along the course, with hand-made cocktails, jars and jars full of colorful candy and food being freshly prepared. I was blown away with the service and found myself thinking it was all going by way too fast! Book in hand, watching the boys do what they love most, sipping fresh margaritas.... take me back now!

We ended the day at home by the pool. Micah grabbed pizza to-go from the resort market, we cranked up the music and soaked up every drop of sunshine until the sun set. They boys did a bit of putting between pool plunging and once the boys were tucked in, we put the courtyard fire pit to good use! 

I am certain, there are not many days in my travels that could beat this one!
