Practice Round, Day One...
One of my favorite things in the whole world, is watching Roen out on that course! He loves the pressure, craves the competition and has a fierce love tor the game! After playing at Winter Nationals, Roen received an invitation to compete in the UA World Championship. If you know Roen, I don't have to describe his smile or giggles upon hearing this news!
Since the day he received his official invitation, he has been putting in the work! Even though Remi did not get this opportunity, he has been super excited to go support his brother! And support he did! One of my favorite parts on the entire trip, was having him squeezed in between Anne and I, and hearing him quietly chant, "sit, sit, sit" or "be good, be good" or "yes!" when he made that bird. He loves watching Roen go out on that course and just slay it.... I love everything about that!
Roen had practices rounds on Thursday and Friday, followed by tournament rounds on Saturday and Sunday.
On his first practice round, he had three birdies and shot a solid 76! He was super pumped and had plans to get lower and lower, round after round! We teamed up with a good buddy who was also playing and let Remi play along as well.
We celebrated surviving the heat with ice cream at Twistee Treat!

What an amazing life experience! I can see the ear to ear smile on Roen’s face and hear his little giggle! He is a very dedicated young man who definitely loves the game of golf. So special that Remi is one of his biggest supporters. Love all the pictures and so proud of his first practice round! Staying tuned….thanks for sharing! Love y’all 😘
