On Remi's 14th birthday, he celebrated with a typical junior high Thursday.
We started the morning off with a few presents before breakfast. He opened a cross necklace and an iBobber (because mixing technology and fishing is Remi's definition of perfection) from Micah and I. He also opened his present from Roen which consisted of new croc charms (golf, fishing and sports), flavored golf tees (because Remi likes to chew on them as he golfs) and a new club cleaner to keep on his bag. We stuck a candle in his Texas toast and then rang in #14 with an early morning song of Happy Birthday.
There was actually a junior high pep rally that morning, so I stayed for that before coming home to make sure the rest of his presents were wrapped, made his requested dirt cake and a batch of blueberry muffins (his favorite).
With his birthday being on a Thursday, we threw out all kinds of option to celebrate after school! Remi was so torn, because he wanted sushi, but really wanted the evening at home to tinker with his new gifts. In the end, Micah surprised him by having a chef come over to cook him sushi.... this gave him his birthday wish of his favorite food for dinner, while getting to stay home and tinker. And tinker he did! He had asked for a new 3D printer and spent the entire afternoon/evening getting it setup and printing.
Remi had the best day, full of so much excitement, and we had a wonderful evening celebrating the boy that made us parents!

What a wonderful birthday 🥳. It had to be a perfect way to ring in year 14!!! He is loved by many! His smile is the sweetest and little brother looks pretty happy too! Even Reno’s best girl got to accompany him to and/or from school! Scout loves her daddy 🐾♥️🐾. Again, thank you for capturing so many pictures on his special day and sharing with us…next best thing to being there with y’all!! Keep growing old, Remi! Love y’all 😘
