The boys are still up and at'em super duper early, excited as ever, when it comes to Christmas morning. In fact, they had a little talk with us the night before, saying that once they got up, they wanted us up pronto... no piddling around! As you can see Roen was waiting at the top of the stairs just begging us to hurry up and get settled with our coffee, tea, blankets and cameras!
This year, both boys asked for gaming computers along with a whole slew of accessories. Roen asked for a laptop and Remi wanted a big monitor and a PC. I am sad to say that I had no clue it would take so long for Remi's computer to arrive, and it was not here by Christmas. I let him know a few days before so that he wouldn't be disappointed and he was a great sport. Thankfully, everything else came in, so he could go ahead and get everything setup and play on Micah's laptop until his arrived. It also gave him ample time to get Roen setup on his laptop, because truth be told, Remi is a tech pro and has to assist us all when it comes to technology!
After going through stockings, the boys spent the morning playing with all their new toys. We had a late brunch that really ended up being more of a late lunch and Pops even popped in to join us for a bite! After we ate, we let the boys open their presents from us for a second round of Christmas fun!
I love our lazy Christmas day, where we have no schedule, everyone stays in their pajamas, there are usually cat naps on the couch, while Christmas Vacation, Elf and Home Alone play non-stop in the background. It is cozy, it is wonderful, and it is all things Christmas magic!

These are the best days!! I find something new in each picture as I scroll through them. Roen is a mess! He must have gotten stir crazy with his hot chocolate 🤪. And how lucky y’all are to have a resident tech!! Remi makes it look like a walk in the park! Great job helping Ro get up and running. Looks like Scout and Benny were good girls on Santa’s list too. Pretty cool chew toys. Of course the picture of Scout on top of Micah was a good one. She’s like open those eyes…there’s a lot going on!! So many wonderful memories made over this Christmas! It’s always a little sad to see it end. Thanks so much for sharing this special day. Love y’all 😘
