Turns out, paint prepping is neither fast nor exciting. We had to let our original painter go and had to wait 3 weeks for our new hire to get going. In the meantime, just little things have been done:
-Livingroom cabinets
-Trimmed out stair window
-Vent hood
-Micah's closet and my library cabinets
-Stain and paint samples
-Pool fire bowls
-Dirt work around the pool and putting green area
-Driveway forms and rebar
-I have finalized wallpaper selections!
Hopefully by next update, we will have some color on walls! These last little details are going to make this house full of personality! We have been told mid-July... eek! I can hardly wait!

It’s BEAUTIFUL!! So many things that caught my eye! Let’s see…the vent-a-hood, Micah’s built in chest, the fire bowl, the driveway(oh to watch it be poured) and lastly, the view of the lake!! I can’t wait to sit on the back porch and see the sunrises and sunsets! Thanks for sharing the updates! Love y’all 😘
