April has unofficially become our month to pop on over to Vegas! Vegas may not be for everyone, but it is definitely for us!
After getting kids to school, we headed straight to the airport and off we flew! We had dinner and show plans for the evening so as soon as we could get ready we headed over to Fremont Street. The Golden Steer has reservations almost a year out, so our host recommended us getting there as close to 4:00 as we could. We arrived at 4:30, only waited about 30 minutes and it was certainly worth the wait! We have been to some pretty amazing steakhouses in Vegas, but I think this was my all time favorite.
After dinner, Brittney and I got harnessed up and ziplined through Fremont Street... we flapped our arms like birds and squealed the whole way. We also made fun of the other four for being scaredy cats! We now have a few more Vegas thrill rides on our bucket list!
We were supposed to see a brand new show by one of our favorite producing companies.... unfortunately, there was a bit of a mixup! Micah was in charge of booking the show- and like he typically does, he got us amazing seats, front row, in fact. It wasn't long until we realized our show was nowhere to be found, and he had accidentally booked a show at the Atlantic City Caesars! Hahah, we all had a heehawing good laugh over this! Our first evening was a pretty great start to our little getaway!

Looks like y’all hit the ground running!! Or should I say zip lining 😂😂. At least two brave souls in the group! Sure a cute picture of you two. I must say…I’d be on the ground with the rest of the crew! Downtown is really cool at night! It’s almost like being in a pinball machine 😂. I bet poor Micah will never be in charge of booking the show again! But hey he tried!! 😂😂
Glad yall had a great getaway in “Lost Wages” oops I mean Las Vegas! Love y’all 😘
