The Rest of Thanksgiving Break...

Believe it or not, while the boys were off hunting, I did put my books away and get out of the house! I woke up before the sun on Black Friday and did a bit of shopping, got a swag bag and found some steals on fuzzy Birkenstocks! We had lunch at one of my favorites, complete with an apple cider margarita and lots of laughs and girl time!

My new quilted bow topper finally arrived and with Remi's help I got it up on my topless tree and then I fell in love with my staircase when my new framed photos (from my most favorite photoshoot of all-time) were hung! Please note the garland.... I had to join all those long strands together with twine because the length did not match up with the distance between the banisters and how I wanted my swags to hang. It was quite the glittery, time-consuming endeavor!

I also met up with my fellow Wicked lovers and had a jolly good time eating popcorn and Twizzlers while watching an impeccable film version of my favorite Broadway musical! I will say, the Movie Tavern does not carry movie theater pickles and for that, I was much disappointed!

The minute Roen got home, he had some Benny time, followed by a shower and a little library visit, where his feet got cold. The dogs had an absolute heyday sniffing all the hunting gear and just knew they were  going to find some birds in all that camo. They were not successful!

Our break was wonderful in all the best ways! Family, friends, the great outdoors and even a little sweater weather!

The Thanksgiving holiday was busy but in the best way! So many fun things going on and wonderful memories were made. I love the staircase pictures too! Seems like just yesterday the boys were that little! ♥️♥️. The garland and tree topper are beautiful! I’d have to say Ro wins the award! Who else sits wrapped in a towel with their feet in a fuzzy little bed!! 😂😂. Thanks again for sharing all your stories. Next up…Christmas!! Love y’all 😘
