CeLeBrAtiNg #14....

Roen's birthday celebration this year was my most favorite to date! He is so very blessed that his 3 best friends love golf just as much as he does! This makes for a really easy birthday theme!

Roen's one wish was night golf, lucky for him the only place I could find, happened to be top notch! We left straight from school and headed over the PGA Frisco. We stayed in one of the Ranch Houses on their 2 acre putting green and if you ever need a super neat place to stay, I would recommend this a thousand times over! I cannot wait to go back!

As soon as we got there, the boys putted, checked out the range and then we got food. We had a 9:30pm tee time at the par 3 course, so we had just enough time to grab ice cream beforehand. I love par 3 courses because they are so quick and easy! We had an absolute blast! They had Texas country blaring, everything from Aaron Watson, to Stapleton and Bleu Edmondson... brought me all the way back to my college days! As soon as all the boys hit their first shot, they would literally race down the fairway to the green to see how close everyone's ball landed! I can't say I have ever had more fun with these boys. After our little round, we let the boys roam the giant green until it closed at midnight. Micah and I sat out on the porch, enjoying the evening and a little relaxation. 

The next morning, we broke up into two groups and played the East course. This is walking only and the toughest of the two 18 hole courses, but these boys loved every minute- I suppose having caddies didn't hurt *wink*! We ended our day with lunch at the clubhouse and I don't think a single one was ready for the fun to end!

Roen, you are so fun to celebrate and I don't think you could have rung in #14 more perfectly!
