Oh, July, why do you have to end! July was curling up in my bed with Remi and Scout, binge watching Lost in Space, Roen having a day at the waterpark with buddies, doing my bible study while watching Remi cook, having an afternoon of pool time all to myself, a tired teen who still loves sleeping in the car as much as he did as a baby, a sweet little bracelet from a sweet little girl, Micah and I out on an evening cruise and finding Roen and his buddies on the course mid-scramble, back-to-school decor, Remi and Elle out on a birthday Hibachi date, silly Benny who loves sleeping all stretched out, a blurry picture of a sunset pontoon cruise, me realizing Roen is actually taller than his mama, the boys zapping each other with the bug zapper (boys will be boys), my night owl teenager texting me at almost mid-night asking me to come pray with him well after I had tucked in for the night (melt my heart), the girls always underfoot napping (Benny with her ball), a golf day with Bennett before he leaves for college, and another pool day with friends!
I still can't believe both boys will be in high school, or that this summer brought Remi's first little girlfriend and Roen outgrowing me! It's not over yet, so you better believe, we are gonna squeeze in every last drop of sunshine, lake water and pool time before routine hits us smack dab in the face!
Heres to living it up for the next 12 days!!! Lets make them count, boys!

Where oh where is the PAUSE button!!! It’s seems like just yesterday that the RD’s were the age in that picture of the school decor. No doubt they had a fun Summer with 12 days left. Kinda like the twelve days of Christmas. 😂😂
Remi’s dinner date is a beautiful young lady. I’m sure they had a great time.
I kept telling you that you needed platform shoes to stay taller than your baby…but he’s passed you now. Guess your new nickname will be Shorty Davenport! 🤣
