The sweet little Blind Date book Elle gifted me, inspired an entire party!
Once I got the idea, I really just could not help myself! I had a ball of fun planning this party and the gathering itself was a huge success! In fact, everyone has already voiced that they are onboard for another party... I'm thinking after the New Year! What started off as a lovely pastel colored theme (I was dreaming of Jane Austen's Emma when I designed the invites), quickly turned into an all-out Halloween theme because my house was already decorated!
We had pumpkin spice and bread pudding hot tea, apple cider mimosas, halloween cookies and Remi even lent his helping hand with champange glass and mug charms!
My goal in this was to keep the guest list small, with family and close friends! And I, of course, wanted to make sure it was a group that would be all-in on the book talk! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect Sunday afternoon with this special group of ladies!! Not to mention, there was lots of fun booking stealing!
Oh, and it is worth mentioning, that those little Dollar General mugs turned out to be a fan favorite and the most perfect little party favor!
I'm including my invite at the bottom, just in case you decide to throw your own party! And in some of these pictures platters/serving pieces are empty because I took pictures before it was all set out!
