Thursday was my 27th birthday!! I am starting to feel old!

Remi was extra sweet to me on my birthday :)
this was me last year on my birthday...very pregnant!
On Saturday night, Remi spent his very first night away from Mommy! He did great...I had a pretty hard time. I guess since I am with him all the time, it is hard to be away from him ever! My mom kept him so that we could have a late night with friends.
Weening is going really well. So far, I have taken away his breakfast and lunch feedings. Remi has LOVED cow milk from the start. I am so thankful for this! I think in the next couple of days, I will be taking away his late afternoon snack. Since he is doing so well, I don't really see any reason to take it slow...well, maybe not too fast....it does make me a little sad :)
Remi's Pops came to visit for the week and they had tons of fun 'catching up' :)
Still making tons of messes...
But, at the end of the day, he is still my sweet little angel...

I'm so proud of Remi-- I hope to see the steps on video soon.
Thanks for keeping us posted on the weening.... I'm still curious how each step will go.... for some reason I dread having to go through that process in 9 months.
