Whew.....

This past year has been a roller-coaster of emotions for more reasons than one.

Starting with the obvious, I left a town I dearly loved to be with family. This was bittersweet. Fort Worth was a place that I felt surrounded by everything I love. Creativity, life and inspiration. But then I came home and it fit too. I am a person who thrives on my surroundings to function. If I don't feel good where I am, I can't be creative and creativity is what makes me tick. I'm glad God gives us more than once place to 'fit'.

Then the most amazing gift from God was given to Micah and I. His name is Remi. This is a gift that continues to give on a daily basis. Remi teaches me patience, laughter and most of all unconditional love. Remi makes me a better wife, friend and a better Me.

Then we moved into the sweetest little cottage that has completely stolen my heart. I love everything about my home. The creaky old floors, the cozy little porch and my tiny pink kitchen. For the first time in my life I have my own home and family... neither do I feel I fully deserve.

Not only this, but I have had the privilege of staying at home full time and raising my son into what I hope to be an amazing man of God. Being a mom is hard, frustrating and absolutely the most amazing job I will ever have. There are days I want to pull my hair out and then Remi will simply say 'mama' and my heart melts into a million pieces.

And, as I take a deep breathe, then the icing on the cake...

One of my biggest dreams has come true...

Most of you know, that I have always been an artistic soul. I love anything artsy, different and unique. I started drawing when I was just wee thing. I have taken more art classes than I can count, run art camps and received my BFA in graphic design from ACU.

I knew I wanted to stay at home with my kiddos, but I also knew that there was no way I would happy if I couldn't create. So when I left an amazing job in Ft Worth to move to San Angelo, I knew it was time. And, we did it! It's official! With no shortage of hard work, time and help from family and friends, today we are proud to announce the launch of...

Little Pink Designs

This company represents everything creative that I am. I say this with a smile on face because this too, is a gift from God. There are so many people who have helped make this possible for us. I truly believe God puts those people in our lives for a reason.

Thanks to our investors, my sweet husband who has been the core of this company and the support from family and friends. Thanks to all my blog friends who have hired my services along the way:
