I was so nervous about this! Remi is such a momma's boy that I just knew it would be a battle to leave him. However, I was able to sneak out without him even knowing. When I went back to peak on him, he was playing with the other kids. What a sweet, sad moment! I am so proud of the way he is getting so big, but it's also hard when they start needing you less and less.
Being a parent is such an emotional roller coaster!
Here are some pictures of Remi ready for his big day...

What I plan to do today....work, work, and more work! I don't think I've had this much uninterrupted work time since Remi was born!

How sad & exciting all at the same time. I'm curious to hear how the schooling goes!
he looks like such a little boy in his polo and jeans! I'm glad you are getting some time to yourself to get stuff done!
Did he love it? And did you love having some quiet time?
Hayden loves it and asks me every day if he can go to school. Hudson is going to start in the fall.
Yay for Remi going to school! Lucy only goes when I sub at Reese's school, but she loves it. It's so good for them to have time away to play with other kids... and so you can get a break. I hope you are enjoying your time off!
BTW: I met a girl at my church who grew up with you. Her name is Lacy Duggard or Duggan (not sure). I don't know her maiden name, but she knew you and your brother well. Anyway, she's sweet and has kids the same ages as my kids, so that's a plus.
And, to make this even longer, we're in town for good now (no more planned trips for weddings or anything)... let's find a day to get together!
Hi!
I would like to talk to you about an article I wrote that, being a parent, I think you would enjoy (on early childhood education). I'd love it if you could drop me an email quick so I can give you more details if you're interested or if you were interested in new content for your blog.
