Missing Anne...

It is so hard to explain to kids why we can't see out of town family as much as we would like. When we moved away from San Angelo (my family), I made a little photo book with everyone's picture so that Remi could see them anytime he wanted.

Well, a few days ago at naptime, Remi came out carrying his photo book opened to the page of him and Anne (my mom). He was crying and really upset. I felt so bad for him. No matter what I said he just got more upset because he couldn't see her. We ended up getting a hold of her at work and he just laid on his bed and talked to her for about 10 minutes.

I love that kids have such big hearts and love so deeply. We have been very blessed to have an amazing family to love our kids.
