We didn't really do much in South Africa, besides stay at The Michaelangelo to take traveling breaks. This hotel is on the Nelson Mandela Square along with a really neat butcher shop and restaurant that we went to. I had a really yummy ostrich steak for dinner and biltong from the butcher shop. We didn't have great access to a 'nice' bathroom in Mozambique so we savored this on the way there and appreciated it even more on the way back!
And here we are heading to Mozambique the next morning...
My first time in a helicopter...it was awesome! Mark took us about 10 feet from the ground so we could see herds of animals! Elephants, Cape Buffaloes, Sable, Hippos, Warthogs and more! It was so neat to see them so close and in such big groups!
