Christmas 2013...

We had a very merry Christmas this year. I think we actually had four different Christmases with Micah's family alone. This holiday season was filled with family time, lots of wonderful memories and two very tired and worn out boys. I have to say, I am ready for the new year in hopes of things slowing down a bit!

As tradition, we spent Christmas Eve with both sets of Micah's grandparents. Beginning at Grandma & Pepaw's, we eat, open presents from them and have a chinese gift exchange. We then head over to Gran's house where we open the remaining presents, have an ornament exchange, have dessert and play Christmas Bingo. Christmas Eve is almost always a late night and this year, because of two tired little boys (and Santa presents we still had to finish up at home), we were the first to head home.

Once we got home, got milk and cookies set out, and got the boys to sleep, Micah and I went to work on getting Santa gifts ready. Micah and his dad finished up Remi's tool bench while I worked on stockings. I always say I will do less next year, but lets face it... buying for your own kids is fun and I've decided I won't rob myself of that joy just because I know how much they will receive from other family members.

Here are some pictures from Grandma & Pepaw's house...

All 7 cousins...

The little boys...

We love our sweet little nephews...

And here are some pictures from Gran's house...

I have a thing for matching outfits... obviously. I tried to get Micah to wear matching pj's with us, but he was having none of that!

Sometimes Christmas looks like this...

And sometimes Christmas looks like this!

Actually, with Roen, Christmas almost always looks like this! This is his second cupcake of the night. Everytime I turn around, that boy is indulging in some kind of food!

Sippy cups full of hot chocolate... I secretly wanted my own!

Sweet Santa Babies...

Playing with Collin... in a box... what could be more fun!?

Playing with his new coffee maker...

Playing with his new ice cream set...

Hugs from Aunt Carolyn...

Stay tuned.... more Christmas pictures coming. Because I took so many, I will just break Christmas up into a bunch of posts!
