Christmas Morning...

This year, Santa brought Remi a big boy tool bench (with real tools) and Roen a little fire truck! We had a feeling Remi would be the first one up and because he was so excited about Santa coming, we turned off all the lights so that if he peaked before coming a getting us, it wouldn't spoil the fun. Sure enough, Remi came running in our room bright and early and said that he thought Santa had come. He said the it was dark and he couldn't really see but it looked like a big sign (his tool bench) and a wagon thingy (Roen's fire truck). This is by far my favorite part of Christmas... seeing my kids eyes light up like this...

After Remi checked his tool bench all out, he went through his stocking where he found his police suit. He immediately put it on and fixed him a cup of 'coffee' because that is what policemen do! So far, this is one of his favorite gifts.... he wears it every single day!

Looking at his new Things That Go book with daddy...

Remi is pretty paticular. Once he gets up, he likes to change into his play clothes. Long gone are pajama days with Remi. Anyways, here he is in his play clothes building on his new tool bench...

Roen got a pirate costume in his stocking. This has to be one of my favorite pictures from the holidays...

Later that afternoon, we headed to Dallas to have a Christmas dinner with family. The boys are always happy to have more time with their cousins!

Those boys were really "good". What cool stuff they got from Santa!!! Love the work bench. No wonder Remi is trying to figure out how Santa got it down the chimney. You did a great job capturing their expressions. And I might add you look beautiful!!!
