Hunting....

Friday after Thanksgiving, Micah took the boys hunting- Roen for the very first time. Roen has been so excited to 'go hunting with Daddy'. Several weeks ago, we took the boys to Cabelas and let Roen get hunting gear and he has been anticipating the outing ever since. They lasted about an hour in the blind and didn't see a thing, lol. Micah said they kept talking loud and bumping up against the walls. It just makes me laugh thinking about it!

As they walked out to the blind, Roen stayed glued to Micah's side... Micah said Roen was a little scared. Remi on the other hand was picking up rocks, sticks and exploring... no surprise there. One day they will get to come back with their first deer, but for now these big boy outings mean the world to the boys whether they see a deer or not :)















And this is how they arrived home...
