Yesterday, both boys had their Valentine parties at school. They both had a lots of fun sorting through their goodies, but my favorite part was no homework- I love walking in the door and letting the boys just run wild and free! For dinner, we took the boys to eat Mexican food at Los Mariachis- Roen's request. It was a LOVELY day!
Before school, we let the boys open their Valentine goodies from us. They got a chocolate fish, Sour Patch Kids, a new Tervis cup (Roen got Nemo and Remi got Secret Life of Pets), a book and a wooden airplane to put together. It is amazing how much joy comes from a $5 airplane!
A sweet little picture that Remi's best buddy drew him and put in his Valentine sack. I think I'm going to hang on to this and pull it out when they are in high school one day!
Roen's teacher gave every student and half dollar. They are learning about money right now and they all thought this was awesome!
I feel like the boys have been blessed with the best group of friends! I just love all of them!

Lots of "love" in these pictures. It still seems impossible that both boys are in school and having parties. Time slow down!

You have three sweet valentines! I love Roen's teachers idea of giving them a half dollar. I'm going to do that next year for sure. Our money unit falls during Valentines Day as well. 💗
