The whole walking your kid to their new classroom, watching them sit down at their desk, hugging them as long as they will allow and then walking away.
It's that 'letting go and letting them fly' feeling that gets me. It's this big piece of your heart you are used to spending every day, every hour with, day in and day out, that you are leaving at a place you pray will feed them with comfort and encouragement. A world you are not really a part of and so leave with big tears in your eyes, with a heart full of prayers that they never forget how loved they are and that no matter what, Mommy will be counting down the hours until I get to hear about their days...

And you know what...hugging them even when they are grown men and saying goodbye will leave you with tears in your eyes! (sometimes anyway)
They are both so handsome and look so happy! Looks like Micah was prepared for your tearful exit...two boxes of kleenex! (hehehe) I know....it's probably part of the boys school supplies.
