Turks & Caicos 2018...

Last Tuesday, we landed in a paradise that has become a favorite for our family. Several years ago, Micah and I took an adult trip with friends to Turks. When deciding where to go this summer, we settled on Turks again because the boys hadn't been and it was said to have not been hit as hard by the hurricanes as some of the other islands.

I think Turks & Caicos will always be one of my favorite places. The island is so clean, the sand is so white and just melts in your hands, the water is the most dazzling shade of turquoise, the weather stays at a steady and perfect 82 degrees, everyone greets you with a smile- and usually a glass of Rum Punch, and it really does feel as if you are in a little slice of heaven.

We arrived early afternoon and by the time be got our bags, to our resort and unloaded, we had just about an hour to kill before pictures. So, we did what we had been waiting to do all year- we headed straight to the beach. We grabbed snorkels, sunscreen, threw on our suits and dove straight in! The hour went by in minutes and after taking pictures on the beach, we had dinner at a local place called Kalookis. After dinner, we stopped by Giggles for some island ice cream and when we all made it to our beds with happy bellies, heads hit the pillows and the littles were out in no time!

I’m sure the pictures don’t do it justice but they are beautiful! Of course the subjects were awesome too! Thank you for sharing & for being so diligent in taking pictures. I, for one, always have good intentions but get very few pictures. It’s easy to see why you love this place!
Love y’all 😘
