Turks & Caicos Day 4...

This was our very last day at Turks. We were sad for it to come, but we did our very best to live it up while we could! Remi's one and only request on our trip was to go fishing. This boy loves to fish and fishing in the ocean is something he had yet to do. So of course, we made it happen. We woke up early, made a quick stop at the grocery store for some donuts and granola bars and headed straight to the Marina.

The boat that took us fishing was amazing! We spent the morning casting, reeling in and snagging some pretty good fish! Remi wanted to do it all. Bait his hook, cast and real it in- he really is my true little fisherman. I think Roen got a bit seasick because his tummy was upset the entire time we were on the boat. However, our captain was able to get a few fish on the line and then let Roen reel them in so that he could get in on the fun too.

I think the highlight of the fishing trip was when Remi hooked a Barracuda. It fought him hard, but little booger never gave up and got a 3 foot Barracuda up into the boat. He was so proud!

Reeling in his Barracuda...

This was his face right after reeling it in... I can't think of anything that would make this boy happier!

My little Roen fell asleep on the boat ride back with an upset tummy...

We loved our captain and first mate...

After our fishing adventure, we headed back to the beach where we had lunch and spent the day building sandcastles, snorkeling and soaking up our last day of paradise...

Later that evening, we cleaned up and walked a few blocks to Caicos Cafe where we had an island version of Italian cuisine. We sat out on the patio with the the breeze blowing the palms, trying our hardest not to think about having to go home the next day.

I have a feeling we will be back to Turks & Caicos many times over... a place that beautiful is almost addicting!

This can’t be the end😩. Yet another wonderful day was had by all. Poor Roen...there’s nothing worse than seasick...been there and it’s miserable. He was a trouper and hung in there. I’m glad it didn’t keep him down for the day. The smile on Remi’s face was priceless! That Baracuda is wicked looking 😬. They both definitely have some top notch skills when it comes to building sandcastles πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Looks like daddy was a great assistant!
