Skiing Day Two...

Our second day of skiing was cold! Huge, puffy snowflakes fell on us all day long, but we toughed it out and enjoyed the powedry skiing conditions anyway. Starting your day with a mouthful of snowflakes seemed to suit the kids just fine!

The first thing the boys wanted to do, was take us to see the haunted tee-pee. It was a trail tucked away in the woods and I have no idea how Remi found it, but he took us straight to it!

After a day of heavy snow and cold hands, we went back to the cabin to thaw out a bit before heading to Red River. Red River is the sweetest little mountain town. I remember visiting this town as a child and it is just as magical now as an adult. We did a bit of shopping before our tubing reservation. We had an hour time slot and it was packed full of smiles, squeals and happy kids! I think this is one of their favorite parts of the trip! You can go on your tummy, on your back, by yourself, in a group... literally, it is a whatever-you-want kind of fun!

We ended our Red River evening, at Sundance with Mexican food and margaritas.

It was a long day, everyone was tired and ready for their beds and pajamas, but I'm pretty certain the boys fell asleep with snowy dreams of an amazing day!

Poor kiddos...they went from candy bars and soda for lunch to snowflakes for breakfast! 😂😂
Just kidding...it looks like a snow globe kind of day that ended in one of my favorite places too! Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pictures. Love y’all!
