4H Camp...

Last week Remi set off on an adventure all on his own. For the first time ever, he attended an overnight camp. We dropped him off on a Friday afternoon and didn't pick him up until Monday afternoon. He called me every night to report on his day. They kayaked, danced, did skits, climbed the tower wall and did all sorts of outdoor actives to keep them entertained. Remi went to camp with one of his very best friends and came back saying he wanted to go again next year.

Saturday, was family night and since Roen had a baseball tournament, Pops drove me all the way to Oklahoma just so I could see my boy!

Remi even won 'Most Cheerful' award at camp. There are many words I would use to describe Remi, but cheerful isn't usually one of them. Remi has a very intense personality and is usually super focus, extremely irritated, over the moon excited, very lovable or cloud nine happy. He isn't one that just walks around with an overall cheerful attitude, so I was happy that the counselors saw this side of him!

Oh goodness...it doesn’t seem possible that he’s old enough to go to an overnight(s) camp. He looks so happy in all the pictures. Bet they loved every minute. Did I mention he’s about to be as tall as his momma? Super cool that he won an award...congratulations, Remi!
Have a wonderful weekend! Love y’all 😘
