We decided to spend our last day on the beach, in the sand, soaking up every bit of the Caribbean that we could before sunset. The boys woke up early and began their day with crab hunting. With the use of shovels, spoons, forks and a bucket they ended up catching 7 crabs all before breakfast. They were pretty proud of themselves!

After the kids scarfed down their breakfast, they ran off in search iguanas while us adults finished up. Quite some time later, they came running back saying that Remi had caught and picked up an iguana and that a groundskeeper got on to them, telling them to leave the iguanas alone.
As we made our way to the beach, one of the employees had one of the iguanas in his hands letting guests see it up close, and that is when Remi said, 'Mom, that is the iguana I caught!' I couldn't believe that he had caught this giant iguana and that it didn't bite him! That little rascal! Anyways, the kids loved getting to see this lizard upclose!

After our lizard encounter, we headed straight for the beach were we buried each other in the sand, snorkeled and built sandcastles.

We also took out the giant beach bike and tried something new, Fly Boarding! Remi was dying to try this new activity and even Micah got in on the fun. Roen was still a bit small to stay up in the air but Remi and Micah got the hang of it. Remi has already said, this is on his list for next summer!

Around 3:00 everyday, the pool serves free treats for the kiddos, so we headed over to the pool for snow cones, Italian gelato, swimming and a bit of hot tub time in the rain.

We ended this sugary sand, salty water day back on the beach where I insisted we take a handstand picture to replicate last year's handstand picture...

Last year's handstand picture...

For dinner, we went to the highly recommeded Sunshine Grill and though none of us loved it, I did get this fun little picture of the kiddos...

The next morning, we got ready, re-took our family beach pictures and then headed back to the great Lone Start State. The Cayman Islands hold some very dear memories to our little family and I will always look forward to the day that we go back to swim in the magical waters of Bio Bay, swim with the stingray and cram our mouths with poolside cotton candy!

Another perfect day...minus the crabs and iguanas 😬. That iguana was huge! I can’t believe Remi caught it. I’d be running from it 😂. The beach bike is so cool. It was not what I had pictured at all. Micah and Remi must have great balance to stay on that fly board. Pretty cool! It has been so much fun looking at all of your pictures. I’ve enjoyed every day of this vacation!!
Happy Friday!! Love y’all bunches 😘
