The next morning, we loaded up our gifts for the San Angelo crew, and headed west!
The minute we arrived, the games began! One thing we all love about visiting Anne, is that we play games! I grew up playing games with my family all the time, so it brings back so many fun memories of my childhood!
After a few rowdy games of Yahtzee, the kids had their very own gift exchange of Favorite Things! They loved seeing what each other brought and turned out to be such a fun little activity for them. From there, they got to open their stocking from Anne. Anne hit the jack pot because they spent the rest of daylight outside flying their new airplanes! I think every single kid got their airplane stuck in trees and even a few on the roof! With the help of fishing poles and broom handles, they were all retrieved safely, only to get stuck again and again! It was quite comical!
The next morning, we had breakfast and then went straight to Christmas festivities! We started by letting the kids open all their gifts. Roen finally got his own RipStik, Remi got SpikeBall, they got new hoodies, games, new custom leather belts, church shoes and all kinds of goodies! After the kids started getting into their new stuff, us adults opened our gifts. From their we did our own version of Favorite things which also proved to be lots of fun! We spent the rest of our Christmas outside playing dodgeball and more games!
It was just a quick trip for Micah and I, as we had plans for New Years, and headed out early the next morning. The boys, however, got to stay the rest of the week! They had a blast getting in lots of cousin time and being spoiled by Anne!
* On Christmas Day, Little Lady had a scary episode where she collapsed and we weren't sure she was going to make it. I told myself, I would not let that ruin our wonderful Christmas and thankfully she is on the mend. As you can see, it was lots of rest and TLC for our littlest fur baby!

My favorite people in my hometown…doesn’t get much better than this. Time flies, but it allows for tons of fun memories to be made. I loved the favorites game. Great idea. It’s always fun to play with the kids. Thought for a little bit that Ro and I had regained our King of Wahoo status…but not this time. 😞 The dodgeball game was intense…sure had me up against the wall 😂
Thank you for being so diligent in taking pictures. It’s always fun to see what I missed. Love y’all bunches!
And…I’m so glad Little Lady is recovering from her episode. Heartbreaking to see them like that. 😘
