Our Varsity Wildcats made it to the first round of playoffs and the three boys who snagged bench time at home games at our October Fall Festival, were invited to be a big part of the playoff fun! The boys got to parade through the halls the with the players the morning of their game, they got to ride on the bus with the team to the game and they got to be right in on the action by sitting on the bench the whole game and witness locker room halftime with the team. Roen even got his name on the playoff shirt!
My favorite part though, is the 413 CATS.
If you look at the bottom of the playoff shirt you will see this. 413 stands for Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This is something rare to instill into the youth of a public school system these days. But, oh, how our youth need seeds of scripture anywhere and everywhere they can get it. Coach Reed is bold with his beliefs, being an example of a man who has a heart for the Lord. He is truly one of a kind and has made this season one of the best for numerous reasons! Our little small town is proud to call him a Wildcat and I think the world needs a lot more 'Coach Reeds' mentoring our youth!
This program is something to be proud of and this mama feels blessed to be a part of it!

Where is the love button on this post? Awesome doesn’t begin to describe the words you have put on paper, but there are none that truly express the feelings that I had when I read this. I agree whole heartedly the world does need more “Coach Reeds”!
