Late June, Roen had his 6 week check-up on his collar bone. Things looked good, so he got permission to start swinging those clubs again. Just 3 days after his appointment, he played his first tournament. DCC hosts Father Son Golf Tournaments every so often and since they are a scramble setup, they are super fun and relaxed. They only awarded 1st and 2nd places in this tournament, but technically, Micah and Roen placed 3rd! This tournament was the most perfect way to get Roen back in the swing of things!
*Remi actually hurt his wrist around this time, so he had to set this tournament out. Thankfully he didn't break it, but he had a good hard fall off his bike resulting in a bad wrist sprang.
