Celebrating 13...

When we threw around ideas for how to celebrate Remi's 13th birthday with all his buddies, we knew we wanted to do something super special. I have thrown my fair share of birthday parties in my time, so one thing I know for sure, if you can find an outdoor activity, the boys do so much better!

I am proud to say that in the end, my idea was the winner! Remi loves to fish and so we chose our first open Saturday, booked two boats and took his crew of best buddies out to Texoma for a day of guided fishing for striper. Most of these boys are fisherman, so I think it's safe to say they were all in their element and had a blast! Not to mention, they brought home over 80 fish!!!

Because it was the big 1-3, we decided to end the evening at home frying up the fish we caught and one giant sleepover. These boys are all transitioning over into their teenage years, and sleepovers of this size are always a bit of a circus. I think we ended up with one bloody nose, a giant wrestling match and one who ended up going home... all in all, it was a huge success and I know the birthday boy was one happy 13 year old!

Looks like a perfect party! Great suggestion….you know your boy well!! I can’t imagine cleaning all those fish, let alone frying them!!! I’m sure glad you got all these pictures. It’s always fun to see them and their friends. At least you didn’t have any broken bones or furniture, so I agree…it was a success🙌🏻 Happy 13th Remington Arlynn Davenport!!
Love y’all bunches 😘
