Deer Valley Skiing, Day One...

We started our first morning with a big, hearty breakfast at our lodge. After eating, we headed downstairs to get our boots and skis on. We remembered many of the runs from our previous visit and spent the morning getting our ski feet back in gear. We have one that loves to go down easier slopes so that he can go at full speed, as fast as he can- the other is constantly begging to go blacks! It really is so much fun hitting the slopes with these boys!

At lunch we made our way back to home base at the Stein. The boys sipped hot cocoa and played chess while we waited for a table and rested our out-of-shape bodies. We had wild game chili, grilled cheese with soup, and burgers, then we went right back out to the slopes until they shut down for the day.

We spent the evening strolling Main Street, popping into the shops, grabbing souvenirs, ornaments and little treasures to remember our trip. A local recommended a place called Blind Dog Raw Bar for dinner, so once the boys hit their shopping limit, we ventured off Main to eat sushi, oysters and of course, chicken tenders for our chicken loving boy!

Home Alone faces!
