Our third day was a fishing day!! It's always the decision to either go out to the deep sea, or stay in closer to do reef fishing. I think we were all hoping for a giant Marlin, so to the deep we went!
Overall, it was a pretty slow day out on the water. Around mid-morning, we hit a jackpot of tuna, reeling in a total of 6 monsters within minutes! It was intense, crazy and just enough excitement to make the day! But, the very best part of the day was running up on giant pods of dolphin- hundreds and hundreds of them. Never in my life have I seen anything like it. They were everywhere, surrounding our boat, every direction and as far as you could see, jumping, twisting and dancing through the waves! Thinking back, it seemed all very magical and other-wordly. Being out on the water, is a place all 4 of us love to be, so a slow day of fishing, is still a good day in our books! We also got to put our eyes on the famous arch and then as we pulled in for the day, we had the cutest little sea lions follow us in!! I would have done anything to have brought one back home with me! Their little whiskered faces reminded me of little old men!
After we made it back to the house, we cleaned up and headed to Amigos for dinner! We enjoyed drinks, sushi and a lagoon view from the patio!

Gosh, you make it hard to decide which is my favorite day!! This fishing trip was amazing. I love all the pictures. Y’all must have reeled in most of “Charlie’s” family! 😃. Poor Ro worked so hard he had to grab a nap 💤. And I assume the pelican was lured in by Dr Doolittle. The arch is amazing…and the water is so blue…a different shade. I’m sure the dolphins were fun to watch, but that little sea lion is precious! Easy to see why you wanted to take it home! 🤗. Definitely a fun packed day with the perfect evening! I have to admit going to a restaurant called Amigos did not lead me to think of sushi! 🤢. The drinks looked delicious. Can’t wait to see what is next! Love y’all! 😘
