There really aren't many lazy days of summer, but when there are, you can bet fur babies will be in our arms! I have also generously provided a few examples of what an ADD kiddo looks like off of his medicine for the summer- please tell me Roen is not the only 12 year old who does acrobatic routines in his seat! In case you're wondering, this is real, as he had no idea I was taking these pictures! The boy CANNOT sit still!!
One afternoon Scout trapped a skink under our dinning table, and as you would expect, Remi was there in a flash to save the day! We seem to have a daily parade of children who are in and out, the boys continue to fish until nightfall and of course, they are keeping the road to the course well traveled! This summer, we have made tee times for just Remi and Roen several times a week. I wasn't sure how well this would go, but miraculously, they have had a blast playing together in the afternoons!
These days are spent in swimsuits, smelling like fish bait, sweaty boys and smiles that only come out this time of year ! My house is either calmly silent or pure chaos as my pantry is raided and wet swimsuits and towels fill my hamper! I love them for their boyish adventures and all their ornery antics!

What a fun summer!! I would agree that there’s not many lazy days, more like Crazy Days of Summer, but definitely making many wonderful memories! I’m impressed with Roen’s flexibility…I’m thinking it’s a new trend…car yoga 😂😂. The fur babies are loving the snuggle time for sure. I definitely thought Scout trapped a skunk…clearly I didn’t know what a skink was! Just thought it was a typo, but it’s far better than a skunk. Lol But I’m sure Remi aka Dr Doolittle, would have been able to get the skunk out too!! Thanks for sharing these great pictures. It’s always nice to see what’s happening in the Davenport family! Love y’all 😘
