Lots of exciting stuff going on over at the building site...
· The retaining wall is all finished- I need to get a picture of the stairs done because they are so pretty
· Drywall has been taped, mudded and textured
· Garage doors have been installed- they will be stained the same dark color as the rest of the house
· Safe room and vault door have been installed
· They have started digging the pool
· All wood floors have been laid
They have also started the long and laborious process of tile! So far, it's just prep work, but next update I should have the fun stuff to show!
Up next, they will start installing upstairs cabinets and trim work! The trim work is one of my favorite parts of the whole project! I have also started picking out wallpaper which has been so much fun!
It's getting close, about 6 months out I'm guesstimating!

Woohoo!! This is beyond exciting! It’s amazing how much has been done and everything looks fabulous! Love the retaining wall and those garage doors are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Be sure to post a picture after they are stained. Thanks so much for sharing the progress and good luck with all the finishing touches. I’m anxious to see what wall paper you use. Love y’all 😘
