Skiing Day 2...

By the time our second day rolls around, we all have our ski feet broken in! It always ends up being our most favorite day, packed full of run after run!

We got lots of snow this day and loved the fresh powder skiing! I spotted a giant snowman and a kneeling Santa with baby Jesus that I thought were most definitely photo worthy- I was even able to sneak in a family shot! Roen discovered he actually does like crab legs and basically lived on crab legs and hot cocoa while we were there! We decided that Micah looks just like Stein Erikson and the boys had a grand time laughing at Remi beating me in a game of chess over lunch... in a solid 5 moves. Remi really is a master chess player and took it as easy as he could!

We got a little visit with Santa after skiing and as you can see Roen was quick to break in his new beanie! We called in Uber Eats and spent the evening getting packed up for a super early Christmas Eve flight home. As we tucked in that night, we were just a teensy bit sad that we would have to wait an entire year before we would return.  But, as hard as it is to say goodbye to what has become one of our favorite adventures, we also knew that Christmas had finally come and it was time to get home!

These are the best pictures!! Sure glad you got the picture of the giant snowman and Santa kneeling over baby Jesus ♥️. Yay for Ro…not sure I could pair hot cocoa with crab legs, but hey…don’t knock it till you try it! ðŸĪŠ. And you, quite honestly lasted longer in a chess game with Remi than I would. 😉. He’s good. This trip did fly by, but oh the memories that were made!! Thanks for sharing another Davenport Adventure!! Love y’all!!

Ok…for next year, you need to look at Houston Llew’s art piece called “Snow Crew” and recreate it adding the four of you to it! Unfortunately it’s not a spiritile or you would have it gifted to you! ðŸĪ—. The wording reads “There’s snow crew I’d rather be with”
I think you’ll like it! That’s all! 😘
