Sea Island, Georgia...

Our 2nd day at Sea Island, was a golf day! 

We started off with a bit of room service for breakfast, a quick little warmup at the range and then headed off to the Plantation Course for some sunny skies and gator spotting! 

Reno was our course caddy who came along for the fun, helped us spot tee shots and shared his green expertise! It was a bit on the chilly side, but ended up being our prettiest day for golf! Family golf days like this are always pretty laid back, including breakfast balls, bets against dad and lots of smiles and laughs. 

After golf, we did a bit of exploring on the resort. We headed over to the Beach Club and Cloister areas where we shopped, found an adorable little candy shop (that was closed), snagged some Sea Island Christmas ornaments and toured the pool area. It really is such a neat resort with something for everyone! The Beach Club is very family friendly, where The Lodge is geared towards the golfers! The Cloister is the original, historic beauty that would also be fun with just adults!

For dinner, we made reservations at Colt & Allison for an upscale dinning experience. The dress code was dinner jackets, ages 10 and up and no devices for kiddos at the table. This was the boys first experience at a restaurant like this and I have to say, their manners were tip top! We don't do fancy dinning like this often, but I do love being treated like royalty from time to time- what can I say, it's that whole princess at heart thing!

I love days like this, where we can be outside as a family, no distractions, just cruising on the carts, sipping drinks and doing what we love!
