NJHS Induction 2024...

Roen finally got to join his big brother in NJHS!

Roen's true passions may be found out on the course or on the court, but if you set an expectation for this little guy, he will aim to please every single time. So even though his grades and overall education may not be his number one, he still works hard because he knows it's important to us for him to reach his potential in all that he does.

He had me giggling throughout the whole ceremony, as I watched his little mind wonder away, far from anything that was actually going on. I'm sure he was out at the nearest fishing hole reeling in a monster catch. When it came time to recite the NJHS pledge, not only did he not know any of the words, but he also couldn't seem to find the words on the back of his program, so he just smiled. A big ole ornery smile, up on stage, in front of everyone. Remi was several rows behind him and I just knew if he could see his little brother, he would be rolling his eyes.

These two boys are night and day and it tickles me to no end, how the exact same ceremony just a year apart can give this momma a total different experience from each of my boys. Remi was proud, he was honored and held this night with the upmost of importance. Roen, well, he made the whole evening a light-hearted celebration!

Roen, you make life fun and I hope that never changes!

Congratulations to Roen!! I sure wish I could have seen his induction 🥲. Of course it’s possible that I might have caused him to be even more distracted, if we had ever made eye contact! 😂😂 You know they say we all have that one person we don’t need to sit by when it’s something serious…well Ro and I need to be separated!! He’s just a go along get along guy with the sweetest smile! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome accomplishment! Both boys are so handsome! Great pictures!! Love y’all 😘
