Well, this Back-to-School season has been a whirlwind!
It's been hours of homework every night for our big high schooler, tests to study for, projects and early mornings for offseason high school. Freshman year has been no joke and many nights, Remi is so overwhelemed, I get flash backs to 5th grader year all over again. BUT, Rem and I make a pretty good team and we have found lots of little shortcuts to get the work done where he can still see the sunshine for dinnertime.
Roen on the other hand, is living up the life of an 8th grader. No homework, no tests that he stresses about and off to the golf course as soon as he gets home every single day. Most days, he plays until its dark and then still wants to squeeze in a little more friend time with golf buddies.
We have celebrated Gigi turning 50, we have had before school puppy snuggles and photoshoots, the boys have gotten to celebrate some of their best buddies birthdays, weekends are crammed with friend time, and I am doing my best to clean out as we prepare to MOVE!! It has been a pretty busy start to the school year, but the new back porch and my favorite view are calling my name!

Busy is an understatement! Starting back seems to take a little while to get a rhythm for everything! I know for sure that you and Remi will persevere and it will be smooth sailing soon! Roen is like me…having an older sibling pave the way makes it a lot easier. Sure got some great pics!! GiGi’s 50th Birthday pics are great! Always good to see everyone!
