Chirstmas at DeeDee's...

The day after Christmas, we headed to DeeDee's to have Christmas with Micah's immediate family. This is always a cozy and festive evening. We start with fajitas, finger foods, egg nog, champange and dinner mingling. Once we eat and get presents sorted, we let the kids open first, one by one, of course! We then move onto adult presents and end with stockings for the kids.

There are always way too many presents, but we take our time, we take lots of pictures and get so caught up in story-telling and chitter-chatter that we often have to be reminded to stay on track. We only get together like this once a year, so I suppose we all have lots to catch up on!

It was such a wonderful little evening and I everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly!

If 2024 taught me anything, it's that family time is a gift. Family relationships should be cherished, held dear and be tended to. Having family that supports you, loves you and shows up for you, is one of life's greatest displays of love. This was an evening that reminded me of that...
